John Brown was born on May 4th, 1800 in Torrington, Connecticut, United States and died on December 2nd, 1859 in Charles Town, Virginia. By Execution. Brown was extremely religious, he dispised slave owners and slavery itself. Brown was one of the 16 children born to his parents. His father Owen Brown taught John that slavery was sinful and that it should be put to an end with any opportunity. John Brown had two wives. The first wife named Dianthe Lusk, after she had died he remarried to Anne Day. Brown had two sides, He was a man that was very self-righteous making him unappreciative to his sons and others and the other side of was a very kind man that took care of his family. While getting older his hate towards slavery kept growing and growing, he even once told his friend that he has the will to die for the closure of slavery.
